Maybelline SuperStay 24 2-Step Lipcolor {Review }

Photobucket

I don't normally wear lipstick because I hate having to apply it more than once a day. When I got the invite to try Maybelline's New SuperStay 2-Step Lipcolor, I was a bit skeptical. From what I read about the product, you would not have to apply the lipcolor more than once and it would not feel dry.

After my Bzz Kit arrived in the mail, I was pretty excited to find four different shades. I'm more of a lighter, neutral shade kind of person. There was a darker shade that I thought was pretty so I decided to get out of my comfort zone and give it a try.

The first thing I noticed is that you have to wait for the lipcolor to dry completely before applying the lip balm or it WILL come off. I waited until my lips were a bit sticky and applied the lip balm directly over the lip color. I thought that maybe the lip balm would remove some of the color but it didn't.

My lips were really soft after I applied the lip balm. The lip balm also has a bit of flavor to it which was a nice surprise.

I noticed is that if you don't wait until it's dry then you will get the color on your teeth. It comes off pretty easy as long as you catch it right away. Again, not that big of a deal.

I took a shower, ate, drank through a straw, brushed my teeth and slept in my lipcolor and it did NOT come off. In fact my lipcolor stayed on for two days and it only came off after I took it off.

Maybelline has made me a believer and will continue wearing their lipcolor. All you have to do is try it for yourself and you to will become a believer.
