The Peaceful Housewife's Natural Household Cleaners e-book Giveaway

A few days ago, I had the opportunity to try out some of the products on The Peaceful Housewife's Natural Household Cleaners e-book. The one that I was dying to try was the Spray Stain Treatment because my 6 year old son LOVES to make messes.

The thing I like aobut Jenny's e-book is that all of the products are very simple to make at home. I like simple. Plus, you pretty much have all of the ingrediants needed to make most of her products.

Back to the mess thing. When I got the e-book, I used the Spray Stain Treatment right away because my 6 year old ate some chocolate ice cream and got chocolate all of his white shirt. I was very hopeful that the Stain Treatment would work.

I followed the directions but I don't know if my spray bottle was broke or you need one with a certain sprayer but my bottle would not spray the stuff. I ended up pouring the solution onto his shirt, let it sit for a few minutes and then put it in the wash with a few other whites.

When the laundry was done, I pulled his shirt out first but was bummed that all of the chocolate didn't come out. Most of it came out but there were areas where you could see traces of chocolate. I guess he can use it as a play shirt or something.

The next thing I will be trying is the Fabric Softener. I hate buying dryer sheets. It gets kind of expensive after a while. If I can save some money by making my own fabric softener then I think it's worth trying.

Now for the good part. Jenny at The Peaceful Housewife has authorized me to give (2) A Mom From The Burb followers a copy of her e-book. Fill out the Rafflecopter form below to enter.

Disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
