College Student and Mom

Back in September 2012, I started college at the ripe old age of 35! I had been a stay-at-home mom for 7 1/2 years before going back and it was time I did something for myself.

Do I feel weird among the younger students? No! Am I holding my own? Yes! Last semester I received all A's for the three classes I took. They were not easy classes either. I took Anatomy and Physiology I, Psychology and Intro to Electronic Health Records.

This semester I am taking Anatomy and Physiology II and Pathophysiology. I have one semester left before I can apply to the Nursing program! The classes I have remaining are Nutrition and Microbiology. Do I think I can get into the program? Sure if I apply myself and keep getting those A's!!!

In the mean time, I will not be posting as much as I use to because these classes are very important and difficult. It will be worth it in the long run!
