Banana Cinnamon Fridge Oats

I joined a group on Instagram that offers support to those looking to live a healthier life. We support each other through all our non-scale successes, through our healthy eating transitions and exercising. The meals are delicious and easy for anyone to make. I'm not the greatest cook in the world but these meals...I can do. 

Each session is 28 days long and has a different theme. You can participate in different photo challenges as well. You do have to purchase the program though, but there are discounts before each session begins or you can just Google the meals. 

One of my biggest downfalls is that I HATE eating breakfast. One of the recipes is for Fridge Oats. What the heck is a Fridge Oat? Below is the recipe I came up with. 

Breakfast: my version of fridge oats: 

  • 1/2 cup uncooked oats

  • 1/2 cup almond milk

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 

  • 1/2 a banana

I don't like fridge oats with yogurt. This version tastes pretty good! I put my oats in a Mason Jar, which are easy to just grab out of the fridge and take with you in the car or to work. No excuses as to why you are not eating breakfast anymore.
