Strawberry Shortcake the Healthy Way

If you are anything like me, you love to snack on everything and anything that isn't good for you. When you are trying to change your eating habits it seems like you can't eat anything but that isn't true.

Strawberry Shortcake is a rich, delicious diet buster. You can still enjoy your favorite treat just in a different, healthy way. I was a little apprehensive to try this at first but it was delicious! Here is what I used for this healthy treat.

Strawberry Shortcake (the healthy way)

  • Several fresh cut strawberries
  • 2 Tablespoons of Ricotta Cheese mixed with a teaspoon of honey
  • Sprinkle of Nutmeg
  • 1 - 2 Tablespoons of Pecans
  • Put in a fun dish and enjoy!
