Women's Buckle Braid Cardigan from Wish.com (Review)

Disclaimer: This review is of my own personal experience. I was not contacted by nor am I associated with Wish.com. I purchased this product with my own funds and am just sharing my experiences as a consumer. Your experience may differ from mine.

So far I’ve received two out of six items I purchased from Wish.com on December 30th. Both items were received before their anticipated delivery dates, which is pretty good. If you haven’t read my previous post regarding the fitness bands, please find that post here: Wish.com Fitness Band Review.

Today we will be discussing the “Fashion Women’s Solid Color Long Sleeve Buckle Braid Front Irregular Clothes Placed Cardigan” (pictured above) that I purchased for $10 ($7.00 for the sweater and $3.00 for shipping). The sizes ranged from Small to 5XL. After reading the reviews and seeing that the sweater ran a bit small, I decided to play it safe and order the 5XL. My normal size is 22-24 or 3XL.

The sweater is really cute, in the picture, and so I decided to make the leap of faith and purchase it. I received the sweater in the mail on Friday, January 12th. I ran inside, excited to try it on. First, the package was damaged but the sweater was safe inside. I pulled the sweater out of the package and noticed it looked a wee bit small. Who am I kidding? It looked WAY too small, but like any good product reviewer I tried it on anyway.

When I say I felt like a sausage getting ready for breakfast, I mean it! This bad boy was so tight and the buckle didn’t hit in the same place it does on the picture! Who wants to have a buckle ride just above their boobs? As you can see in the photo below, it doesn’t come close to closing on me and you can clearly see the arms are way too tight.

I had my 12 year old son, who wears a man’s small and my 16 year old son, who wears a man’s medium try on the sweater to see if it would close on them but no such luck. My 16 year old is about 5’8” ish and weighs about 145 pounds. The buckle hit him in the same spot it hit me and it wouldn’t close all the way on him either. My thoughts are that this sweater is built more for an 80 pound 8 year old girl and not a grown woman.

For those of you that will say, “Well, I can see why it wouldn’t fit you. You’re really fat and blah, blah, blah.” A fat girl wants to look nice too. Plus, this was supposed to be a PLUS SIZED sweater. You know who you “Negative Nellie's” are. Those that have to put people down rather than encourage and support someone because you think you are better than everyone else.

Anyway, my point is, this sweater runs really small and if you are a big girl, like me, think twice before you waste your money on something that won’t even fit a 145 pound teenager.
